I started RestedPaws after watching my own dog get older and do what older dogs do: never complain, just move a little slower and take a little longer to settle.
The goal wasn’t to make the softest bed. It was to make a bed that feels stable and supportive, so an aging dog can actually relax instead of constantly shifting.
Over time, we narrowed everything down to what mattered: consistent foam support, durable stitching, clean materials, and a look that fits a calm home. When costs rose, I had two choices: lower standards or stop production. I chose to stop.
What you’re seeing now is the final production run. When a size sells out, we won’t make it again.
Materials & care
How it’s made (simple, consistent process)
We kept production small and repeatable. The goal was consistency, not constant “new versions.” Every batch followed the same checks so the bed you receive feels substantial, not flimsy.
- Foam cut to spec: measured for consistent thickness and support.
- Cover fitted & reinforced: seams strengthened in high-stress areas.
- Finish + inspection: zipper function, stitching, and shape checked before packing.
What we refused to change: we didn’t switch to cheaper foam, and we didn’t downgrade the cover fabric just to keep margins comfortable.
Why we stopped production (the calm version)
Material costs kept climbing. The easy move would have been to quietly lower quality. We chose the opposite: end production instead of shipping beds we wouldn’t stand behind.
- No cheaper foam: we didn’t want beds that flatten quickly.
- No lower-grade fabrics: we kept the same durable, home-friendly materials.
- No restocks: once sizes are gone, they won’t return.

- Small: up to ~25 lb
- Medium: ~25–55 lb
- Large: ~55–85 lb
- XL: ~85 lb+
